MARVEL UNIVERSE
What is Marvel Universe in the first place? Well, its no all that easy to tell but Marvel Universe is a fictional reality which exists in comics (Marvel Comics). For more infomation, click HERE. That link takes you to an encyclopedia website which describes the Marvel Universe as it is.
MUTANTS
In the Marvel X Universe, a world with hatred and prejudices, mutants are feared and loathed by people that cannot accept their differences. Mutants (homo superior) are the next evolution in the chain of humanity. Some children are born with an X-Factor (a unique genetic mutation). These usually manifest themselves at puberty and grant individuals special powers.
But in MXU, mutants and humans live in harmony. Prejudice is seldom of act as mutants and humans are at constant number of population. Like the blacks in the 20th Century, the humans began to accept mutants as of what there are. Although most mutants go to special schools, some, who have full control of their powers, are legally able to go to normal schools too.
22ND CENTURY
Unfortunately to all those future, technology and computer geeks, the 22nd Century is not really that much of space-age world where flying cars zoomed through the air and humanoid robots do all the hard work. In Marvel X Universe, the world of technology hasn't reach that step yet. But though, the technology that is in MXU is very advance, but not too advance.
The 22nd Century takes place in between the year 2100 to 2199. Those Marvel comics books representing the year 2099, is out of here!
Marvel X Universe is an unknown alternate-earth of Marvel Universe itself. Some characters from Marvel Universe are in MXU while some are different but based. Nobody, including Marvel, knows of MXU's existence except to those who are reading this.
ADAMANTIUM
As many of you Wolverine fans might know, the indestructible True Adamantium has been for years waiting for its secret to be known. Well, in MXU, because of the huge funds to create True or even Secondary Adamantium, researchers and scientists have altered the formula, creating a third version called Light Adamantium. The secret of Light Adamantium has then been known to many people and has been used for purposes of good and bad. Light Adamantium is not as strong as True or Secondary Adamantium but, it can also withstand powerful explosions and blows.

CHRONIME (CROW and NINE but with a "M" behind)
Chronime steel, which only exists in MXU, is another powerful steel created by Dr. Kane Gold. He first was assigned to help Dr. Joe Petersen to create the Vibranium but later decided to create his own steel, with compounds similar to Light Vibranium. But in the end, his own version of Light Vibranium failed but ended up with a weaker steel, which he called Chronime. Instead of absorbing kinetic force like Vibranium, instead, Chronime steel deflects it. It molecular structure enables kinetic force to pass through in and then out, releasing the force back in the opposite direction. Though, depending on the thickness of Chronime, if is hit with a more powerful force, the tensile strength will tear. Chronime can also deflect heat and light and is the only hardest alloy that has tracings of high Osmium.
MUTANICS
In the beginning of the 22nd Century, a new breed of superhuman beings called "mutanics" evolved creating havoc and destruction throughout the America. These highly evolved mutants were proven to have come from a virus called Mutanics, which were first found in 2097 and proven to be harmless. But how very wrong they were...
This infectious virus broke out from a secret underground laboratory's containment unit and became airborne, infecting only those with genetically altered DNA, mutants in a radius of 0 miles. The virus caused the DNA cells in the mutants to increase their mutation four to five times than normal speed. The effects of the virus enhanced the mutants' powers to an extreme level but its negative effect cause them to lose intelligence, memory, human sanity and self-control. Moreover, the mutants deformed into strange predator-like creatures; some in human-like, others in alien-like. These "mutanics" as the public called them after the virus, rampaged throughout the city, infecting 20% of the mutant population. Not even the police or the military could stop such threat to society. Mutants tried to help fight them, but many failed and died trying so. Till then, there was no cure to the virus.
The Mutanic virus eventually died down, leaving the mutanics to a constant population. After the X-Forces were founded, the mutanics population began decreasing but many of those who were lucky to escaped and sought refuge underground. The mutanics that stayed in the sewers grew into a pack, the leader, formerly a mutant named Scavenger.
Mutanics vary from higher-grade, which are those who have completely loss sense of humanity and those of the lower-grade, the ones who's memory and intelligence and may still be intact or lessened. Lower-grade mutanics are those who were infected by other mutanics, not the virus itself. And because of that, they still possess their human features and unlike the higher-grade mutanics, they are capable of speech. Most lower-grade mutants pretend to be humans for fear of imprisonment. Such of these lower-grades are Dr. Henry Simile, himself, the head of Biotech Industries.
Most mutanics possess supermutant strength, enabling them to lift (press) three times their normal limitations.
VIBRANIUM
In 2015, the secret of the vibratory energy absorbing Vibranium was discovered by a scientist named Dr. Joe Petersen. And after that, the first man-made Vibranium was created. This Vibranium was proven to be stronger than Wakandan Vibranium (the one in Marvel Universe) and was able to absorb any types of force from friction to kinetic. The simple Vibranium steel was later given to the government, who later used it to make amour. But the result was too heavy for a person to wear. In the end, they used Dr. Petersen's notes and formulated it into Light Vibranium, using some specified chemical compounds. The Light Vibranium and Chronime amour was later given to Joseph Hendricks who would later become Steel Knight. The secret of Light Vibranium, too, was given to Frank Carter to create the super-armored Psyborg (see Next Generation page)
