POWERS: What
powers does Sonic have? SUPERSPEED HYPERSPEED LIGHTSPEED Limits? CREATIVE ABILITIES: (1) SUPERSPEED (100-300 miles per second) While superspeeding, Sonic can dodge a machine gun fire, but presumably, he was able to see the path of bullets in bullet time and step out of the firing area. He can punch and kick his opponents several times, per second. He can change his clothes and tidy his house in just 4 seconds. He can do pretty much other normal things at this speed (eat, toilet, bathe, etc.) (2) HYPERSPEED (400-670 miles per second) While hyperspeeding, Sonic can create a cyclone-like gust of wind, which are able to knock his assailants of their feet, by racing around in a ten-foot diameter circle. Sonic can hyperspeed approximately 400 feet up the side of a building wall because he's faster than gravity, which would certainly overtake a normal human in less than a second. And he can even hyperspeed, walking across a sea of water without sinking. While in this amount of speed, Sonic can produce kinetic power by gesturing his hands to an object. The wind (or kinetic) will eventually push the object or a person. If he hyperspeeds across an open desert, he can eventually hover off the ground for a few minutes, and drop back to the ground. Using this ability, he can leap from the ground, catapulting himself up to extreme heights that is determined by his speed. (3) LIGHTSPEED (670-1500 miles per second) Now this is too much! Using his power to the unknown limits, Sonic can make a three hundred and sixty degree turn around the world in just a few seconds. And if he pushes it even further, he will be able to enter a Time Warp, allowing him to travel through time, back or forth. Even at this speeds, if he even touches someone, the kinetic force will send the person flying through the air, 80 miles per hour before slamming or smashing into something. EQUIPMENT:
Sonic possesses a skin-tight full body suit which is made with chemical
properties that is resistant to time aging (in which the body ages faster than
normal) and time friction (time friction can cause serious burns to the skin).
The process and secret of this suit is made of is classified by the government. NOTE: If Sonic is to carry a passenger, he can and must only speed lower than 60 miles per hour in order to prevent the passenger from achieving time aging. HISTORY: It all started with the elemental essence called the Speed Force. Many you may know it from the DC Comic's character, the Flash. Well, a unnamed secret government agency was to conduct an experiment to prove that this essence existed and whether or not a man could possess it. With this, scientists discovered that if a man somehow breaches the speed border, he may be able to achieve it somehow. Then, the construction of the Speed Modular began. This modular is somehow similar to the ones at the NASA Science Centre, where a sphere revolves round and around to test the pilot's stability of consciousness. But this one is to go over 100 miles per hour. Who better to do it than a big tough guy named Andrew Palmer, eh? Agent Palmer, American African, a respected operative at the agency. After he agreed, he underwent serious physical and mental tests to make sure that he was able to withstand such speed. The result? Reliable. After putting on the prototypes, Time Suit, Speed Goggles, they strap him onto the modular cockpit. As they do that, Palmer takes a deep breath, hoping that it wouldn't be his last. The sphere slowly revolves at 10 miles per hour. Then, 20 miles per hour. 30 miles. 40 miles. 47 m. 58 mp. 70 mph. 80 mph. Only 20 miles more to finish the experiment. 82 mph. 84 mph. 89... "POWER FAILURE" The laboratory power shuts down. The lights go off and the modular is still revolving, still moving fast. A few curses and groans break out from the scientists and technicians. The modular was using too much electricity until the circuit sparked, cutting the power. Glancing at the monitor screen, they realized something. Slamming onto a big red button, a large thick pad springs out from under the spinning modular eventually slows it down, screeching onto the ground to a halt. Brought onto a stretcher, Andrew Palmer looks like hell. His hair dishevelled. His heart beating rapidly. His breathing rate fast. His face spoke of terror of what he had just undergone. Rushed to the hospital, the doctors checked on him, sticking sensors all over his body and putting an oxygen mask over his mouth. The moral is...never breach speeds that is restricted to the human body. Finally, Palmer was claimed to be alive. The only thing bad was that his two legs were broken but would be healed after some time. Discharged from the hospital, Palmer decides to quit and signs a confidential form of secrecy to the agency. On a wheelchair, Palmer starts a new life with his wife and children and even decides to write a book. But little did he know that at the very same moment the power at the lab shut down, Palmer had breached the realm of the Speed Force without even knowing it. And when the backup generators came back on, the Speed Force indulged in him just as the big red button was slammed. The story continues when he discovers his power to speed at extremely fast velocities. Then, as you all might have guessed, he goes back to his former agency and steals the Time Suit, and the prototypes, disguising himself. Taking the role of a superhero, he calls himself Sonic and becomes one. His first adventure began when the United States Technology Department was testing this man-piloted vehicle, the fastest in the world. Tested in the desert, the vehicle called the Speed Racer zooms off, awaiting to break the speed record. Little did they know, a small malfunction in the vehicle caused the pilot, Samuel Johnston, unable to stop the vehicle or direct it. So, the Speed Racer simply speeds until it crashes at 300 miles per hour. However, Sonic is present and he speeds after it. However, he isn't experienced at hyperspeeding or light-speeding yet. So, he can only superspeeds which is more or less faster than the Speed Racer. Gaining after it, he manages to pull the pilot out of the Racer before it crashes into a valley. And then, Sonic becomes a hero, publicly known to the citizens of New York. |
